I mean, can someone very rich has the money to buy one fighter jet (of course without weapons) just for the fun to fly them, can they buy them or not?

Yes, but good luck getting even basic parts. Those things are very high maintenance and you will need a ground crew and the desire to fly often (sitting around is bad for them). If it's an old plane, chances are is near its life expectancy which means repairs are even more costly and there is a good chance it would be more dangerous now than when it was new.

Yes, and usually at a very reduced price, I wouldn't try to accessorize an old F-14 though with anytype of missiles though that might create a few problems

couple of million dollars laying around, you can
get a pretty good fighter jet.

Yes. of course like you said stripped. They're are auctioned off and some are open to the public. But most are for licensed personnel such as police forces and private security firms like the one in iraq. http://www.barrett-jackson.com/ Auctions off Hummers and some other vehicles.

SURE. First, you will need at least $40,000,000. You will need several millions of dollars to maintain it. If you're on a budget get a F-16, they are older but are just as efficient as newer fighters.
