I was wondering if fecal matter or vomit was ever used as forensic evidence...

Like if a suspect was last seen eating dinner with the victim at a seafood restaurant, but denied it. Also lets say the victim was mutilated where the stomach contents were spilled. Lastly maybe the suspect used an outhouse or whatever leaving their fecal matter...so that the police can compare the seafood.

I know it sounds funny, but I never hear anything but blood and semen on Cold Case Files or any other of those shows.

There was a case where vomit was used to solve the murder of a child. It was shown on, I believe, Forensics Files.

The father was having financial trouble, and he killed his son shortly after the boy had eaten breakfast. The boy vomited, and had vomit on his clothes. As the killer carried the boy to the garage (to put the body in a trash can), the vomit got onto the killer's car and on his truck, as well as in the trash can used to transport the body. The man then lit the house on fire and "left for work" in the truck. (He actually left to dispose of the body.)

The man was in the truck when he received a cell call telling him that his house was on fire and his son was missing.

The forensics investigation showed that the vomit contained traces of the cereal that the boy had eaten for breakfast, linking the man's truck to the killing.

It relies upon on the end results of the placement i assume. i will use your occasion of the brash and speedy-tempered character. Say they're doing some thing that demands a calm and picked up guy or woman; in the event that they fail at it and their temper gets the greater suitable of them or in the event that they be able to do it, yet after suffering, then it is somewhat useful. I particularly agree although; somewhat with the greater youthful babies bit. much greater so while they be able to do each and every thing completely, no warfare by any ability. i think of that maximum writers believe that because of the fact their important character is their important character, no rely what their age or how qualified they're, could desire to have the flexibility to do despite is thrown at them. that's not useful in any respect. it could be greater suitable if the baby could desire to do it, yet have been shocked on the end result and it grow to be an entire twist of destiny. BQ: It relies upon on how youthful the characters are. 12? Eh, i don't in all possibility like examining approximately characters /that/ youthful. 18? specific, if there's a clarification for them having the flexibility to, as unfavorable to the older characters. BQ2: I do if there's a reason. Say, they have been harm too many circumstances. i will study something as quickly as, yet while there is not any justification, i will sense cheated and in all possibility in no way touch it lower back. So yeah, i assume I do.

Those bodily secretions contain very little DNA but there is some in there so I suppose it is theoretically possible.
