Jimmy Carter is the smartest president we ever had. He was a truely honorable man, and probably was too good a person to be on Capitol Hill, since he wasn't able to play ball with the corruption found there and in Iran. What he was saying back then about the energy crisis was true and came back to bite us in the butt. History will remember Bush for the bonehead he truly is. It was the corrupt Iranian government that created the Iran Hostage crisis. They were pissed that we let the Shah come here for cancer treatment. The Ayatollah claimed that we were Satan, but as soon as Reagan was sworn in, suddenly we were no longer the evil Satan. It was all a game of Khomeini's.

Although I do feel that Bush will probably go down in history as one of the worst three presidents ever, I agree that it was not Jimmy Carter's place to draw attention to the failed foreign policy of others ... even though it is really, really failed.

However, you can not use the status of the DOW to determine the country's overall condition. Even you would have to admit that we're suffering from things that are a direct result of this administration.

jimmy carter was a good guy, he didnt have the killer instinct it took to be a president. he didnt go to war because he was smart enough to know that it couldnt be won. you cant win a war in the middle east, all you can do is suppress them for a short time, and they will be right back where they were. outside of killing husseign, we have accomplished nothing over there. the dow might be high, but for the 90% of us that cant afford stocks, it does us no good. how much are you paying for gas? when carter was in office, i could afford to drive. you keep on thinking the way you do, thats what the present administration wants. our country is in the worst shape its ever been in. i know you dont believe me, but just wait, for whats to come, youll wish we were back in the days of jimmy carter.

None of your points had to do with foreign policy. Let me point out our economy isn't foreign policy
Jimmy is just puffing himself up because HE won a Nobel peace prize for the Camp David accord.
W hasn't made us any friends by saying "Your with us or against us".
The world was on our side when we went into Afghanistan and George the Second had a 90%+ approval rating.
Now it's really low and the economy is booming. Obviously one has nothing to do with the other.
Is this question in Religion and Spirtualiy because your a devout Capitalist?

Jimmy Carter wasn't too much better. His leadership during the Iran Hostage Crisis was pathetic and an embarassment to the nation. He should have finished Iran once and for all the day the crisis/ started

I think it's bad form for an ex-president to bad mouth another. I would think these men, above all things, would know the incredible pressure that is on someone who inhabits that office.

I admire Jimmy Carter for all the things he has done since he was in office, but I wish these men would just keep quiet if they have nothing kind to say.

Jimmy Carter score foreign places coverage is a comedian tale. in basic terms diehard Liberals take this guy heavily anymore. it fairly is why the mainstream media keeps to place this guy on T.V. to tell you the certainty, that's slightly unhappy. He might desire to easily retire and pass away. He has his possibility and he blew it!
