I agree with you, and I was a virgin when I got married, so was my husband.
It's also about self respect. Why would you give it up so willingly? I have only ever been with 1 man. I am currently divorced 2 years and I will not have sex with another man until I am married to him.
I respect myself too much to have it any other way.
I know how hard it can be as a teenager to control those urges. This world is becoming so ok with sex that it is hard to sort out what is real and what is not. Just ask yourself this question," Will you still be who you are if you give in to the worldly views? "

Yes, I totally agree with you. Besides making the honeymoon special, I think one should wait until one is very sure they are committed to the person. I believe if you are not committed to each other enough to get married, then there should be no sex. This is because if you are not yet that committed, there is still a chance you could break up - even if you think you won't - and then you will not have saved yourself for the one you do end up marrying.

It's gonna be a surprise whether it's now or later doesn't matter. I say go for it. I actually think you should do it for quite some time before the honeymoon so when you get there, you already know what makes each other crazy and you can have wonderful sex. This doesn't mean you have to give-it-up in your teens though.

I think you are right. Saving your all for the person you are going to marry is the best way to not get hurt with horrible break ups in your teenage life, and not to make decisions that you will regret for the rest of your life. Teenagers can make this decision, and control themselves contrary to what many people seem to think. Teenagers are not animals that have no control. They can do it.

I totally agree with you. If young people would learn to control themselves and wait until they are married, there would be less unwanted pregnancies and less STDs, HIV/Aids.
This sex at an early age thing is wayyyyy out of hand. I am so blessed that I was a virgin when I married my husband, it was the right thing to do.

In my opinion sex is a wonder full gift from GOD for people that get married. Sex is NOT supposed to happen outside a loving
marriage between a man and a woman. If you claim to be a Christian this is irrefutable.

i agree with you, that is the way god intended for it to be. sex before marriage is a sin, and after marriage it is a blessing, why would you turn a blessing into a sin? and it is healthier that way as well, bcuz you have less chances of getting STD's and stuff.
some one told me this making love with someone is like attaching yourself to them, like a piece of tape.if you attach that piece of tape to surfaces it doesnt stick to, and when you attach it and remove it over and over it gets unsticky... but if you attach it to one person and leave it there, then the bond becomes stronger than ever... and as far as controling the urges, i'll have to agree with you it is sometimes hard to control the urges, but you have to go thru the pain of controlling yourself before you are able to fully enjoy the pleasure of making love...

My Opinion on this is more or less like yours. I am not in favour of sex before marriage. In Hinduism as per our Vedas it is told one man should have one lady only in his life. And this was possible by having arranged marriage in presence of many people for both the houses (Brides as well as bridegrooms) so that there is no break up on a future date. (It is just like have food only in your own house)
If a person (man or woman) have sex before marriage without any commitment it will be forgotten or ignored by any one party and afterwords they will be in search of another mate and ultimately you end up in having sex with different persons and finally when you get married to some one you will not be happy with him/her as there will not be any excitement (This is like tasting food at different hotels and restaurants)
Please excuse me for putting this so bluntly-
