Most of the big European Tank junkyards were cleared in the 1950s & 1960s, the tanks were cut up for scrap, some have been preserved in towns and villages in France, Belgium and Holland as well as military museums.
Occasionaly a tank is found that sunk in the soft swampy ground of Russia, in remarkably good condition, and many post Communist countries still have memorials with tanks on them.
A search using Tank Museums will get you some good results and pictures on the net.

if there are any, I would say they are in the jungles of places like The Philippines or other Islands, Maybe North Africa or some other out of the way place. I know that a lot of vehicles were just dumped off piers and ships to dispose of them after the war and you might find some in those places. If you are looking for tanks of that era you can try the movie set suppliers, there is one in Barstow CA, guy has all sorts of stuff, wouldnt be suprised at any thing found in his yards.

Not usually. I have been to several battle sites, in Ukraine, Lithuania and Kaliningrad (was once East Prussia). Though it is not especially hard to find the scars of battle, there are no derelict wreaks out there. Though many places have older tanks, that were left on the battlefields, restored and on public display.

Yes, there is the flotsam of war in the major battle fields of WW11, particularly on the Pacific Islands that were contested by the warring parties.

I've been out in the Sinai Desert and it's filled with burned out Egyptian tanks from the 1973 war.
I've been to Peleliu Island and it's filled with rusting out junk.

There used to be some in North Africa left over but I think by now most of it has been scraped for steel.
