First boil your drumsticks in salt water for about 5 minutes.
Put them on the grill over medium heat until they are just about done. Baste with this recipe and finish cooking for about ten more minutes.

1 cup soy sauce
1 cup Franks Red Hot
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup vegetable or corn oil
1 T garlic powder
1 T ginger

You can also baste or dip them after you are done cooking.

McCormick chicken rub is great.

I leave it on the chicken for about an hour in the fridge, and really rub it in,(after chicken is washed and dried)
then, leave at room temp. for 20 minutes,I do spray it with garlic oil before I grill them. . . . . .

Great. . . .if someone wants sauce with them, keep it on the side.. . . really not necessary.

have fun!

Make this blend, and rub it on before grilling:

2 tsp salt, 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp onion powder,1/2 tsp thyme,1tsp black pepper, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp cayenne (it's pretty zippy) and 1/2 tsp garlic powder.

This is my FAVORITE rub...for grilled, baked, or especially rotisserie chicken.
Enjoy!!
