Many of my answers about my personal experiences with the Mormon church have been deleted. I have used only my personal experiences and references from church history and doctrine to prove my point.
Mormons are obviously complaining because they do not understand the dark history behind their religion.
Do moderators actually read the questions they are deleting or just delete anything that is flagged? Do they delete questions because of their own personal biases or is the Mormon church putting pressure on them not to expose the truth?

True Scottsman, my nickname has to do with the abundant love and blessings of the universe, TRUTH is part of that. I am speaking and sharing my personal truth with others. How is that ironic?

French, you may have inherited some prejudiced outlooks from your LDS roots. I am not a single mom and have never taken church hand outs. I have never went back to the church for *guidance* as you put it. My children and I are happy to be out of the Mormon church and are only trying to figure out how we got there in the first place. If you know your history and have LDS roots then why are you not a member and what exactly is your point?

Mine get deleated often, Mormons don't like being questioned and take it personally, because there isn't a logical defence for many of thier beliefs. As a result they get very defensive and take every question or answer that doesn't tow the line as an offence.
There aren't enought employees at Yahoo to deal with all the abuse tattle tales out there, so there is an automatically generated process that erases your question and sends you a link to try and correct it.

From a personal stand point I don't really believe there is any type of dark history really behind the LDS church. Yes the saints were persecuted and ridiculed by those of other faiths, but that was just a small moment of church history. Look and see how prosperous the church has become within the last 20 or thirty years. It is amazing the growth that is occuring within the LDS church.

What I advise you do: flow on your Heavenly Father in prayer and ask what's genuine. he will answer you, in the time of the Holy Ghost. this is the only way you will ever extremely comprehend. We have faith the gospel Christ taught became misplaced and/or replaced with time. There mandatory to be a fix of the fulness of the gospel. while God and Christ appeared to Joseph, they informed him that each and all and sundry different church homes weren't coaching the marvelous doctrine. some had areas and products, yet no longer the finished gospel. That introduced on the subject of the fix. examine the e book of Mormon. examine the journey of Joseph Smith's imaginative and prescient... it is staggering. President Hinckley reported as quickly as that this (the gospel fix) is the two the biggest hoax ever, or it extremely is the terrific miracle to ever ensue in this dispensation. We motivate definitely everyone to ascertain for themselves that's good. matter upon your Heavenly Father, he will answer you. What you experience around your persons, is the Spirit. He testifies of reality. i comprehend the gospel to be genuine and it extremely is by way of fact I even have studied, prayed and won solutions to my prayers. I even have additionally won a great sort of advantages by way of gospel... it is the terrific miracle.

I'm mormon, and I understand more about our religion then you probably do. Not to be rude, but I live the religion, so I probably know more about how it started, and how it works then you do. But that's beside the point.
It isn't only mormon ones that get deleted. It's anything that a lot of people find offensive. I've never had one deleted, that I know of anyway. But then, I don't really watch to see if my answers are there or not, so it doesn't really matter to me.
I think you are just trying to pick on mormons. Maybe that's the problem.

Sylar, if you are an educated person and genuinely seeking knowledge there are many sources more credible than Yahoo Answers to learn from, I'm just assuming that your answers were sarcastic, offending or maybe both for them to get deleted.
On a side note you said that your input has been getting deleted in the last 18 months and I see that you joined Yahoo answers on May/16/2007!

I have had several of my answers deleted, along with question, but not just from the Mormons,
when you put any belief system in a bad light, people get offended, and push the report button.
the moderators do not read all of the complaints, or question. they just do not have that kind of man power.
it is nothing personal, apparently they feel if someone is offended enough to report, then it must be offencive.

That's terrible! If you are asking from personal experience, not just to stir up hate, that should be allowed. Some of the questions that stay are incredible they are so full of hate!
But to be heonest, I don't think they do really read the questions. Get flagged, get deleted.
It's typical Yahoo ~ there have been cases where groups of 100 happy people get complained about by one troll and get deleted. Overnight, gone.
Better luck in the future!

I've read your other questions, and you are only trying to offend people with the best of intentions. As a member of one of the original LDS families, I think you have a lot to learn. I am not a member of the LDS church, but I do know my history.
As in all religions there is something dark, mysterious, or completely made-up and used out of context. I think Christianity is a facade for people that have no accountability for their own actions. And I am certain that you wouldn't know the truth if it hit you on your head.
YOU remind me of the single LDS mothers that have a load of children that use up every resource (handouts) provided to them until it is depleted. Then you move on. Your children turn out worse than you did, then you resort back to the "Church" for more guidance (handouts), until again you have exhausted all of their resources. You will play the victim the rest of your life. It's not about religion, its about being selfish and vindictive.
EDIT: I don't think basic observations of people is anything that you inherit genetically or otherwise. You were a single mother or did you jump from one marriage to the next? You mentioned and slandered your ex-husband in a previous question. Besides the point, I never said you took handouts but that you reminded me of those women that do. Your "tween" daughter looks up to her father, who as you put it is a saint in her eyes. Is slandering him because of his religion and your failed marriage really healthy for your children to have this projected upon them?
You are jilted by a failed marriage and pornography, atleast be honest about it. Take responsibility for your own failures. Knowing my own history has nothing to do with being a member of a certain religion. It just happened that I am knowledgable about that particular religion.
If you are going to doggedly impugn a faith atleast be honest with yourself about why.

Sometimes, when it comes to virulant anti-Mormons, there is truth and there is TRUTH. And many, if not most, anti-Mormons usually part company with truth when they start spewing about the LDS church.
I had a question deleted because it was just a little too something. I understand why they did it. I don't like it, but I understand.
Be absolutely positive that what you are saying is the TRUTH. Because too many anti-Mormons SAY that they are saying this in love, but it sure sounds like hate-mongering to us.
