I am a Christian, and your question is difficult to answer. However, I read Job 33:25 the other day and it says 'His flesh shall be fresher than a child's'. As a long-term sufferer from excema and psoriasis this verse touches a nerve. I write down at the front of my Bible the verses that really strike me. 'Yahweh will lighten my darkness' (2 Sam 22:29). 'When God hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold' (Job 23:10). 'Let not mercy and truth forsake me' (Prov 3:3). There are many more, and I reflect upon them when I cannot sleep. The Kingdom of God will surely come. One day.

Yes I'm a Christian and John 3:16 or Matt 6:33-34 would be my top pics.

I used to have Matt 6:33 printed on my business cards.

"Seeking first the kingdom of God" Matt 6:33

Psalm 1

Far to many to mention, but at the moment i like this one: Luke ch1v39, when Mary visited Elizabeth and the baby heard Mary's greeting and leaped for joy in Elizabeth's womb. In verse 45; blessed is she who believed for there will be a fulfilment of those things which were told her from the Lord..
v46; Mary said"My soul magnifies the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.".
these words always bless me..what a wonderful moment it must have been.
Psalm91;he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty..
Ps 27v4; one thing i have desired of the Lord,
that i will seek, that i may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple...and Isa40....and lots more..
~~Shalom~~

Psalm 23..the Welsh version..(even more poignant than the English version..'The Lord's my shepherd.')

"Yr Arglwydd yw fy mugail, ni bydd eisiau arnaf, Efe a wna imi orwedd mewn porfeydd gwelltog,Efe a'm tywys gerllaw y dyfroedd tawel, Efe a ddychwel fy enaid, Efe a'm harwain ar hyd llwybrau cyfiawnder er mwyn Ei enw.Ie, pe rhodiwn ar hyd glyn cysgod angau, nid ofnaf niwed, canys yr wyt Ti gyda mi, dy wialen a'th ffon a'm cysurant.Ti a arlywi ford ger fy mron yng ngwydd fy ngwrthwynebwyr.Iraist fy mhen ag olew, fy ffïol sydd lawn.Daioni a thrugaredd,yn ddiau a'm canlynant, holl ddyddiau fy mywyd,a phreswyliaf yn nhy'r Arglwydd yn dragywydd.

Tough question. Don't think I can narrow it down to just one so here are a few of my favorites:

Psa 74:20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.

Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Rom 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Pro 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

1Jn 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
1Jn 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
1Jn 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
