According to "The Almanac Book of Facts", the population increased 137% within the past decade, Christianity increased 46%, while Islam increased 235%.
In a recent poll in the (US), 100,000 people per year in America alone, are converting to Islam. For every 1 male convert to Islam, 4 females convert to Islam,

Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. After 9-11, the number of converts in the US skyrocketed because if you read about the truth of the religion then it just makes sense.

That's an excellent question. Christianity is the largest religion in the world, (2.3 billion and growing) and Islam has a rough total of 1 or so billion followers. Muslims withdraw from the Islamic religion for conventional reasons, one big one being that they've discovered Christ, ( the spiritual redeemer, the anointed one, social emancipator, and the living embodiment of God) as their Lord and almighty savior- approaching the untenable conclusion that he is the only way to eternal life: "...no man cometh onto the Father, except through me." ~ John 14:6
Muhammad never had any significance to us.

Many people are fed up with the fundamentalists.Islam today has become synonymous with terrorists. Again Islam does not allow freedom of thought.It does not give freedom to women.Even though "Islam" stands for peace & brotherhood,today the image has been tarnished.

internet has exposed a lot about the koran that muslims didn't know before. the sun sets in muddy spring,the flat earth, the moon god of the kabah. the life of mohammad as told in the hadiths, a slave trader, highway bandit, rapest, and the list gooos on.

If so, there are that many people under a death sentence. To convert away is punishable by death in many countries.
