I bet they are ll making excuse, they are all saying it was a fluke or luck, IT WASNT! Quinton Jackson is a better fighter then Liddell, proof? Jackson is 2-0 Vs Liddell with 2 knockouts, he has dominated Liddell in both fights, not even close. I am happy Rampage won, he is the better fighter and I wish the Liddell fans would just admit Liddell met his match, a better fighter and Liddell will never get that belt back.

As an MMA fan and student I hold a high respect for Chuck Liddell. Although Chuck has a single game plan each and every fight, sprawl, scramble, and knock out. He has never had to switch his game up because noone fought that guy, they were fighting the ICEMAN. Rampage has twice exploited that and is crearly better then and now. I believe Chuck will definitely have to switch up his game if he want to continue onto another rein. I am more of a rampage fan though for about 3 or 4 years.

How ironic: Chuck Liddell loses and now all of the haters come out of the wood work. Where were you 6 months ago? Prior to this fight I don't recall anyone whining about Chuck Liddell.
And Rampage Jackson isn't superior to Chuck Liddell. He beat him, but he's not the better fighter.

I feel fine. I really like the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. Before any of the fighters I am a fan of the sport.
Chuck, got caught with a punch. In my opinion I think Rampage practiced countering Chuck's moves and just like in training, the head was there when the fist arrived. He took the loss with disappointment but still gave credit to Jackson. This is not the end of Chuck's career.
I am also a fan of Jackson though. I think you see more MMA fans who actually like and respect the skills of both fighters in the same ring or octagon. I think we want to see a good match where both fighters have a chance to display their skills more than a quick fight or one of the defensive stand-offs where neither fighter will commit. Who wins and loses is secondary to the quality of the fight in my view.

Not surprised by the defeat,,, tho I am surprised that Chuck went down by making the very mistake most of his opponents have made, which was walking right into the fire. He got burned once and should have held back and let the action come to him. Think he let Rampage in his head and some how he thought he could go toe to toe. Not going to happen. It's time the UFC had a new brash champion. Think he will help raise the UFC's ever growing popularity.

Well, its an upset dude. But Liddell will be back, he will be an UNDERDOG one more time, which is going to make him incredibly dangerous. Dude just needs to put his damn hands up when fighting good strikers.

I bet they think it's a fluke, I think QJ just had the right fighting style to counter Chuck's wrestler-pounding ways.

I bet they feel like crap. They'll make excuses for his loss just like they did for his loss to Rampage in 2003. Meanwhile we'll just sit back, and laugh our asses off at them.
