Everyone always said, "are you ready for the 600"? But if it's only 400 laps, Daytona beats them by 100. Do they break it up?

its because the track is a mile and ahalf long
400 x 1.5 = 600 miles
Datona is 2.5 miles long
200 X 2.5 = 500
