I think the pudding and milk will help your recipe. YUM
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
4 tablespoons melted butter
4 tablespoons water
1/2 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
4 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/4 cup raisins (optional)
1 teaspoon milk
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
4 tablespoons margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
1 In a bread machine pan, place the milk, beaten egg, melted butter or margarine, water, vanilla pudding, bread flour, sugar, salt and yeast in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the dough cycle.
2 When cycle is finished remove the dough and knead for 3 to 5 minutes. Roll out to a 17X10 inch rectangle.
3 In a microwave safe bowl, mix together the softened butter or margarine, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Soften in the microwave for 10 seconds. Add chopped walnuts and raisins, if desired. Spread over dough. Starting with the widest end, roll the dough into a log. Pinch to seam ends. Cut into 1/2 inch to 1 inch slices and place on a greased jelly roll sheet. Place in a draft-free space and allow to rise until doubled.
4 Bake in a preheated 350 degree F (175 degrees C) oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
5 To make frosting mix the milk, confectioners sugar, softened butter or margarine, and vanilla in a small bowl. Spread over warm cinnamon rolls.

I'm actually getting ready to make some for tomorrow's breakfast. I found a really good and easy/fast recipe in a magazine and it calls for frozen biscuits! Here goes..

26.4 oz. package frozen biscuits (I use Pillsbury flaky layer)
all purpose flour
1/4 c butter, softened
3/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 t cinnamon
1 c powdered sugar
3 T milk
1/2 t vanilla

Allow frozen biscuits to thaw where it's easy enough to roll out. This may take over an hour. Spread counter with flour and roll dough to a 10x12 inch rectangle. Spread evenly with softened butter. Stir together brown sugar and cinnamon;sprinkle evenly over butter. Roll up, starting at the long end;cut into 12 (about 1 inch thick) slices. Place rolls into a lightly greased 10 inch or 9 inch pan. (Make sure the rolls are touching so you'll get that gooey-ness you want.) Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until center rolls are slightly golden brown and done. Cool slightly. Stir together 1 cup powdered sugar, 3 T milk and 1/2 t vanilla. Drizzle evenly over rolls.

These taste very similar to Mrs. Winners cinnamon rolls if you've ever had them there. They are the best I've ever made and my husband's favorite. Enjoy!

Update: I just got done cutting my rolls out and I ended up with 8, so I cut mine a little bigger.

My grandma used to add potato water to the dough recipe. She would boil a potato in pot of water, then whatever the recipe called for, she would mash up the potato (still in the water), then add the water mixture to the recipe, according to what the recipe called for. It makes the dough taste sweet, and keeps it moist.
Also, when you bake the rolls, watch the time. You could be baking them too long. If you want them to be really gooey, you can try to add in more of the sugar mixture, but in the end, I think it all depends on how long they are baked for. Try experimenting with cooking times until they come out perfect.
