Use some stale WINE, of course..red or white doesn't matter although red will work better.

Pour the stale (make sure it is not spoiled, just too stale to drink) WINE into a round bowl...soak the frozen hash for ten minutes, and you'll be ready to go.

Enjoy.

I would suggest you put them in Luke warm water that's if they are separated with paper if not separated by paper get a butcher's cleaver put it between the patties and get a heavy object and bang the meat clever to separate the frozen patties just don't put your finger under the clever that won't be so safe

Place them in a plastic bag and leave them out on the counter for 5 minutes. After that, bang the bag on the counter and the patties will separate.

I use an egg turner - put it in as far as it will go easily then give it a little twist and do it again. I don't know why they don't use separator sheets - no one wants a big block of hash browns overcooked on the outside and raw inside.

Well there are three safe ways to do this........

1. put them in a micro for a few seconds and let them get soft and pull them carefully apart.

2. Take them a couple hours out before you are going to cook them so that they can unfreeze a bit and let you seperate them.

3.Take them a couple hours out before you are going to cook them so that they can unfreeze a bit and let you seperate them, then put them in the micro for a few seconds and then seperate.

The BEST way to defrost them without them falling apart would be to put them in the refrigerator to defrost for a few hours. They should then come apart pretty easily.

I microwave them for a few seconds on the defrost setting and then stick a butter knife between them and they separate easily.

Defrost them just a bit and then use a spatula to seperate them from there. Just don't use a knife, you may slip and cut yourself

I use a butter knife and brute force. Sometimes it works, sometimes I get odd shaped patties.
Enjoy! it all eats.
