yes it is natural for a person to think about the time when the parents are gone. sure it is very sad. instead of thinking so much about them dying you can spend time with them taking advantage of this time the here and now. don't worry about the next day today is the only day there is ever.
consider also they have spent there married lives thinking how bad it would be if one of there children died before them .
that didn't stop them from teaching you to ride a bike or swim . so don't let your fear stop you from say taking them on a tour boat ride or something.

You have reasonable concerns with your parents death. They are at an age where that is more likely every year.

You have a sort of advantage that you are probably older yourself (not in your 20's) where you are aware that death is a part of life and something that will eventually happen to everyone.

You need to have some friends close to your own age , or younger, who can be there for you when you need it. Basically you need your own life that will give you things to do after your parents death.

Enjoy your parents company while you have it , but dont make it so they think of it all the time.

I think that is normal. How old are your parents. Most people live to 77 years of age. Are they unhealthy??? If so get them started eating healthy and exercising. Being over weight causes a lot of health problems. Remember live for today and tell them how much they mean to you. Things happen, if you believe in GOD then he will help you what ever happens. Don't be sad your parents would hate that. Just love them.....

Yes it's normal to worry about it,but you have to get your mind off it and take one day at a time. When and after it happens you have to live life and deal with it the best you can. It's not going to be easy. My mom is my best friend. I couldn't imagine not having her here. I remember once talking to my grandmother on the phone and her mom had been dead about 3 years and she said I miss mom. I don't have anyone to talk too like I did her. That was so sad...Just try not to think about it.

Not only with age comes wisdom, but so does medical issues.Worrying about your parents dying as they get older is a perfectly natural thing to think of.
