Every agency has its own rules. Also different countries will have their own criteria for adoption, but if you are referring to the United States, it could also be dependent on the individual state's regulations. You should speak with an agency for more info.
Good luck to you & your family.

Defiantly not! You should not even do that till your at least 21 and have experience with children. Because when adopting kids they could have serious problems and you not being very old couldn't get a good job to support you guys! It could be a big mess!

If you are a relative or step-parent, you can be given guardianship. You can't legally adopt a child, even a step-parent adoption until 21 in most states.

If you're talking about a relative adoption, I think you may be able to. If you're just talking about adopting some random kid from somewhere, depending on your state and local laws, usually 21-25.

don't know about other states but Wisconsin says 21. And when adopting from some countries they have their own rules...like...must be 25 or 30.

I hope not!! 18 years old is too young! Live life and find out who you are before kids.
I'm a father of 3 1/2 year old triplets. I'm 36 and I couldn't imagine beginning 18 with kids.
