What do you prefer to use ? To pack a gift or to wrap a gift ?

You wrap something if you enfold it in some flexible material, paper, plastic film etc.

You pack something if you put the article into something rigid or fairly rigid - a box, case, bag, etc.

You would wrap a gift, in paper for a present. The same way with an item or object. You would pack an item or object if you were moving it instead of gifting it.

i would wrap a gift because it is more fun to wrap one than just to simply put it in a bag
