I just came across this curious study which does not find a statistical effect of prayer on the life expectancy of clergy versus everybody else. A lot of the rest of the paper does seem to be anecdotical however. Comments and suggestions for more modern studies on the subject?

The only relevancy I could find in such a study would be that clergy may deeply believe that 3 score and 10 should be taken literally.

Jerry Falwell should have read articles like this one.http://www.joyfulaging.com/FatDifferentTypes.htm
