Atheists and people of faith all have fear. Fear is one of the six basic natural emotions we are born with (look it up in a psychology text). It was "designed" into our psyches by either God or evolution depending on your belief. IT IS THERE FOR A PURPOSE AND IS NOT A WEAKNESS.
The purpose of the emotion fear is to prepare us for an encounter with something we perceive as dangerous. With out it we would soon succumb to "evil" forces due to not avoiding them.
Good luck, good health, peace and love!

Christians certainly like to think so - maybe some atheists are, but I'm not, and I know others who are not. The only thing I'm fearful of is the religious left putting another so-called "Good Christian" into the presidency again, and removing what should be personal freedoms in the name of God.

The Root of Fear, is ignorance or lack of knowledge
As a true believer in the Oneness of God All-Mighty, I fear only God!

Some atheists fear what people will think of them if they humble themselves and have complete and total faith in God.
If you don't think this is true, stick around the forums for a while and just how many atheists daily mock Christians for having "blind faith" or "believing a book of fairy tales" or "not thinking for themselves."
Basically what they fear is humility and surrendering one total self to God.
But humility is the nuclear weapon of all virtues. Satan cannot battle against humility!

An unclear conscience will turn anyone intoa coward, believer or not. The devils believe in God too and they tremble.
Belief itself is not a shield against cowardice.
