At 5'2" 117 could be either a little plump or buff. Your weight does not reveal whether or not you are normal/skinny/average... Your lean weight does.
It is difficult to determine your percent body fat without the help of a doctor or trainer, but if you are really concerned about it you can do that. A school nurse can also sometimes help you out with this, or a weight training teacher at school.
My daughter weighed 112 when she was 16, but her percent body fat was so low that she quit menstruating. She was definitely buff!
My sister was about the same when she was 14, her legs were skinny and she was flubbery... She was definitely plump.
Do not bother to pay attention to 'average weight' charts, they do not mean very much. Stay fit and strong and don't worry about pounds. Health is not only more important than appearance... It leads accidentally to a beautiful body.
