They are just like the Democratic Party – intimidated by conservative lies and bullying.

Trust me; they are making plenty of money off of this. Everyone who is here is not on Google or somewhere else. That means more people using Yahoo!, more people who access advertiser sites through Yahoo!, and more sponsors who use Yahoo!.

This is not a community service – except for tax purposes, of course.

Why do people think, Yahoo actually has someone monitoring yahoo answers ?

They don't monitor yahoo chat, why would they monitor answers.

The yahoo system is a automatic system.

If a certain number of people file a violation report against a question or answer.

That question or answer is automaticly removed.

No one at yahoo personally removes it, it's done by a computer program.

Youy are then notified by e-mail of the violation, and then you can respond to the e-mail about why you don't think your question or answer was a violation.

A real person at Yahoo does read the responses to violation notices.

If your question or answer was inappropiately reported as a violation, Yahoo will reinstate your points.

And yahoo does keep track of violation reports and even negatve ratings on answers.

Again, this is an automatic system, to prevent people from targeting a certain yahoo Answer's user.

IE: you cannot go report every question and answer user "AlphaBateGamma" post as a violation of the TOS.

This will get your own account suspended.

You can find out alot more about how the system really works, by reading the Yahoo Answers Blog, link is on the top right side of the page.

You can post questions and suggestions to the Yahoo Answers Staff there too, and they will repond.

But to say it again, there is not a Yahoo Employee reading the questions deciding, i don't like that one, so im going to remove it.

They aren't.. they don't have the time.. they just delete the questions and answers that get reported to keep peace.. they won't actually sit there and investigate each and everyone of them for a free service

Because they don't want to pay thousands of people to look over questions on a free site that they're not making any money off of?

WIth free comes a lot of things. You just have to put up with it or go to another site where you have to pay.

Because it requires intelligence and time--and both appear to be lacking by the YA staff on this matter.
