They are not the same.

God cannot contradict Himself.

Allah supposedly sent a prophet Muhuamad to earth. Allah supposedly promises 72 virgins to righteous men when they die. Allah supposedly teaches that good works save a man. Allah supposedly teaches that Jesus Christ is not God, or the Son of God.

All those teachings are false. Therefore, Allah cannot be the true God revealed in Scripture and Tradition. Allah is therefore a false god created by the Arab people.

No. If Allah were the God of the bible, he would have a son, Jesus, who died on a cross, rose again, and is the only way to salvation. Islam denies that Allah has a son, Islam denies that Jesus died on a cross, and Islam denies that Jesus is savior. Therefore, the entity called "Allah" cannot be the God of the bible, and no, Allah is not merely another word for God. They are not, not, not the same entity. There is only one God, and only one way to God, through His son.

Hi,
No they are not the same God. Allah is the moon god, and the God of the Bible is WHVH which is Jehovah in English, but even Jehovah is a poor spelling of the Hebrew name of God. The moon god Allah doesn't exist. That god is just another man made idol. Not trying to offend any Muslims here, just trying to state the correct history historical facts. Haggar prayed to Abraham's God who was Jehovah. So this should clear up some confusion..... I hope!

ALLAH is a word that attempts to describe what others believe as GOD.
ALLAH as believed by Muslims is a totally different subject.........Islam originated in an area where people worshiped idols. The Muslims have not been able to give up their "idol worshiping" So Allah as perceived by Muslims is someone who would always agree with their wishes. Thus a Muslim attributes all his doings ( whether right or wrong ) to the will of Allah.
The difference between GOD and ALLAH, therefore, lies in the eyes of the believers. GOD as perceived by us all is just, Loving and forgiving. Whereas Allah, as believed by Muslims, is simply a reflection of cultural belief system and ideology. And he can be harsh, judgmental and god of punishment. Which is what Muslims wanted to see in their God and that is the Allah of Muslims.

Yes, Allah is the same as God of the Bible. "Allah" is the Arabic word that is translated "God" in English. "Allah" is a better word by definition, because the word cannot be made plural, nor given gender, and always means "the One, the Only".

Allah gave the Torah to Moses (peace and blessings be upon him), the Psalms to David (pbuh), the Injeel (Gospel) to Jesus (pbuh), and the Quran to Mohamed (pbuh).

Only One True GOD, Allah, for all mankind whether they choose to believe or not.

Islam teaches there is one God and so do the Christians. Since they are in agreement that there is one God then, by logic, they are talking about the same God. The Jews believe in one God, Yahweh.....so then.....by logic, God's name is Allah God Yaweh. This explanation is not meant to be a clever joke.....there are many roads to God and religions are different roads to his mansion.

There is, indeed, only ONE God. The views of mankind will not change reality. There are different religions for different peoples, for we are all at a different spiritual need. As been told to people who experience a near death experience, each religion is like a stepping stone to help guide people with different spiritual needs to God in their own way.
