Are there any banks in India that offer student loans for Indians studying abroad? if yes, then which banks and what is the criteria fr this? I have no clue and any help would be greatly appreciated!! any smart ideas out there??

All the major banks give students loan in India at least in paper. The bank with which you have accounts for quite some time will only favor you. But everything is in the hands of the manager. Any way although they tell that loan up to 4 Lakh no security is required but they demand a collateral security in case of foreign study.
Of all the banks in India Indian bank and state bank are a bit flexible but they need at least six months transaction with them before even considering you for this subject.
And getting loan for your foreign study in full they have limit of 16 Lakh. For this you need to bring collateral security in form of landed property, fixed deposit national savings certificate etc plus guarantor who should be a government servant. So it is very very difficult for a common man. Only if you have your own parents/brother working in Government plus you have property only you can try with the bank. Further any person who has sufficient fixed deposit with bank branch can stand guarantor for you is acceptable to bank.Any way I heard that there are brokers who can arrange everything including the loan working as middleman and I feel it is better to go thro them as you will face less harassment.

are bhai loan le ke america jayega parne k liye. yaha india k college me kya kami h.. ha yaha comptetion thora jyada h.. if you have got a college in America then any bank will happily give you 20,00,000 rupees..
