Salvation is totally God-centered and this is why. When we live for ourselves here on earth, and try to engage in every pleasure imaginable and say there is nothing to life except this- but when we accept the salvation that comes from Him, we realize it is all about Him, because He paid the price, that we could never pay, and died so that we can really live, here and eternally. I am worshiping God because He is deserving- if I only had life here on earth I would still worship Him, because this life without Him, really is not life at all- you will not understand this until you are where I am.

i don't think it's self centered. yes you live forever, but the draw is that you spend it with the creator and with others. just me living forever by meself wouldn't be all that appealing.
I don't know that a worship of God is all out of love. Of course there are personal rewards. a living relationship with Him is a great reward. having a large family for support (the church), eternal life, peace, a defender. yes there are many personal benifits for walking with God. anyone that denies that, i would worry about. they would probably fall into the catagory you takled about. good questions.

No it is God-centered since it was HIS idea.
Denying God is an illusion and self trickery.
What are you afraid of? Are you certain that God does not exist? Do you think that by ridiculing Christians and our beliefs you will feel better about your lack of belief.
Here is a bit of advice, have a Bible handy, if you happen to be alive in the last days and Biblical stuff starts happening all around you, you can turn to God's Word and read the truth for yourself.
{Biblical stuff such as the foretelling of everyone having to receive a mark on their forehead or hand in order to buy or sell}

Not if it is out of desire to fulfill God's original purpose for man, to make this entire earth a global paradise and to worship Him.

While on a trip to another village, Nasrudin lost his favorite copy of the Qur'an. Several weeks later, a goat walked up to Nasrudin, carrying the Qur'an in its mouth.
Nasrudin couldn't believe his eyes.
He took the precious book out of the goat's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!"
"Not really," said the goat. "Your name is written inside the cover."
