I am a temp and I started a job 2 weeks ago. It is supposed to last until the 15th. Anyway, there's this girl at work that I have to work with who's a control freak. Not only that she is harassing too. One time, I had to file these files where she was sitting and she hissed at me. I think she is fake. She tries to talk to me like saying 'hi' and asking how my day was. I ignore her most of the time. Sometimes, I answer thinking my co-workers will think I am mean to her if I don't. Anyway, after all that she still tries to talk to me. I hate it and wish that I didn't have to work with her. I told my boss at the temp agency about her and my boss said she'll talk to her. This was a few days ago and the girl is still trying to be friends. Should I quit?

I don't think your work mates think any less of you for not talking to the BICHE. Tell the agency yu want out NOW. They probably know waht the Moo is about and for thier own purpose have sent you any way it will show the agency you will not take crap in future either .
Why should you have to experience this again
Shes a two faced Martita Hunt and a Bully b, who if she were told would throw up her hands and Say ''Me A Bully?''
Women always like to hide behind I couldnt be a bully Im a woman!!! actually they are the worst for it
Remeber NO MORE EXCREMENT from the Agency!!!!

I think if you quit you will be allowing the girl to have control over you yet again. It really depends how much you want the job and how easily you could find other work. It could be that the boss has asked the girl to try to make friends with you so she is trying to speak to you more.
I would ask yourself if she was not there would you have continued with the job if the answer is yes stick with it and dont let her push you out. If it is only temporary you will be moving on at some point anyway. If you do leave i would explain the situation to the agency as it might go down on your work record that you quit.

Don't quit, it's only a temporary job so you won't have to put up with her much longer. Maybe your boss did talk to her and that's why she's trying to be nice now. If she asks you a question then answer, but you don't have to do anymore than that... I'd just ignore her the rest of the time. Really, most anywhere you go your gonna find one of those kind in the bunch, just make friends with the others... chances are they feel the same way!! Good Luck To You

Any professional won't think you're being mean if you don't talk to her. But don't ignore her. Just tell her that you need to focus on whatever and let her know that you can talk later. Bottom line...it's still a job. Don't quit.

No you should not quit the job.
You can not quit each time there is someone that you do not like. You will never keep a job then.
Try to learn from this and grow a bit towards a more adult and balanced person.

No, hang in there, if you quit it will look bad on your next interview.

It's only a couple more weeks - I'd stick with it, if I were you.
