There got to be some thing good about global warming. Why this aspect of global warming has not be addrssed?

Global warming has a lot of negative consequences but there are some positive ones as well, although it should be noted that each positive is more than offset by corresponding negatives.

The melting of permafrost is creating new agricultural land, most notably in Siberia where one million square kilometres of permafrost has melted in the last few years.

The number of cold related deaths is falling, this is particularly so in countries that have a temperate climate where the cold winters are no longer quite so cold.

Crop growing seasons in some parts of the world have been extended and there has been an increase in crop yield in some places.

A generally warmer climate is a more conducive environment for some people to live in.

A reduction in heating bills.

Mainly because th negatives greatly outweigh the positives.

For example, global climate change will likely open up artic shipping routes. Good thing.

Global climate change can raise sea levels anywhere from 6 feet to hundreds of feet depending on the model. That is a very very bad thing. For example, a rise of 6 feet would put a large percentage of Florida and Lousiana under water.

Climate change will eventually reduce the number of hurricanes. Good thing.

Climate change also means the large number of those storms will be category 3 or higher. Very bad thing.

There are positives, but the positives don't have the same level of change as the negatives.

They actually ran TV campaign years ago about so called 'positives' of global warming arguing it's good for plants and all that stuff.
Funded by oil, energy companies. This no longer have any support from anybody.

But majority believes negatives outweigh any positives from global warming.

Global warming will cause a rapid dislocation of all climates, all over the world. Some climates will get better, but the worst effects are the rapid changes that will cause the extinction of many species.

Nothing is good about Gobal Warming, and that is why we are trying to stop Global Warming. Our own "President" does not even belive Global Warming is real. Global Warming kills animals, like cute, baby, polar bears, and penguins, and seal, and much more, and Global Warming also makes more hurricanes.

first off ...it's not global warming ...it's GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE ! The reason the real scientists are concerned is because of how rapid this change IS happening ! The only good coming from this is our increased awareness and actions to help save YOUR planet from destruction and extinction of life !
