This question can have several different answers. If you use the word Love to mean Romance, then "Love is Blind" refers to the unawareness of the faults in the partner. This unawareness is the blindness. When the truth becomes known (the person "sees"), then Romance ("Love") fades.
In terms of true Love, the partner is aware of the faults of the other, but these are accepted unconditionally. The person "in Love" acts as if the faults are not there. This is similar to behaving as if one was "Blind".

It is still love at first sight.You are however thinking of the sight of the flesh which is limited but the blind depend on the sight of the spirit which is limitless

First of all there is no such thing as love at first
sight, so it does not matter if you can see or not.
It's a myth only and even people said they have
experienced it, it's not an accurate statement,
as love comes from the heart, and soul. Anyone
can achieve that.

Blind people do marry, I would suspect they get very skilled at judging personality from their astute hearing, are looks everything?
Paris Hilton is very attractive but is self centered in the extreme and spoilt and not very Bright. I would get bored in 5 minutes flat listening to her drivel, and self obsessed nonsense.
