Don't even let the question enter your mind...You know that low down dirty serpent spirit is not even capable of any thing good...only lies, destruction, and death. The word says he comes to "Kill, Steal, and to Destroy" So no I don't ever wonder what would happen...I put on the whole armour of God, and stay on my spritual guard.

Even 2 corinithians 11:14 says he can rework himself into an angel of sunshine. So limited to a e book, no no longer unavoidably so.. via fact God is going previous a e book, he's a spirit, a author. And a snake can basically cover his real self for yet so long.. via fact whats at ineffective night will constantly come to the mild. And he provides us awareness to parent the two: the two stable and evil. devil preys on everyone... in basic terms pray for people who do no longer additionally recognize.

the devil is just in reference to all evil that exists. if one is evil, it is because of the devil, because the devil is all evil. if there ever was absolutely no evil, that could mean there was no devil and that he repented, but if there ever is any evil, we will say that evil comes from the devil; because the devil is not a person or being, he is similar to god in opposite since that the devil is compsed or made up of all evil. if there was no devil there could be no evil because all evil is the devil.
why would that be scary? that is what we all want, is no evil. for the devil to repent and only good to exist. but just as there will always be good, there will always be evil, so there will always be the devil.
if the devil were to repent, then ALL evil would cease to exist, not just the devil...and that being said, it is not possible for the devil to repent, for the devil is simply a metaphor referring to ALL EVIL, not a being.

Anna,
Satan was a fallen angel. It is definitely too late for him. As long as a person is still living they have an opportunity to become a Christian and be freed from an eternity of damnation. There are a number of people who would never and will never do so but they have that opportunity. To become a Christian:
1. We must HEAR GOD’s WORD. - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. We are told to BELIEVE. - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
3. We must REPENT (turn from) of our sins. - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
4. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST before men. - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
5. We are to enter the waters and BE BAPTIZED. - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
6. We are told to CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL until death. - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.
Thanks,
Eds

I think it would be great but his "heart" has become so hard and against God that even God's great love for him, didn't change his mind....like some people who are so determined that God doesn't exist and isn't real, even when He shows Himself to them everyday...they still choose not to believe.

There's a grave misconception as regards the intents and motivations of the fallen Archangel referred to as Lucifer or Satan. Lucifer didn't rebel because he hates God, or because he felt himself superior to God. When God created man, he placed man above all of his other creations, including the Archangels. Lucifer, in his pride, refused to bow to man, and therefore denied the Will of God. Only man, of all of God's creations, is entitled to forgiveness and mercy, and so Lucifer and others were cast out. As a result, Lucifer tempts, misleads and corrupts man, in order to try to show God that he was wrong to elevate man so. Lucifer loves God... he just hates man. As his intent is to show God's error, and as his Sin is Pride, repentance is out of the question.

lucifer knew God in all his glory. for lucifer and the other angels to rebel despite what they knew about God, it is the utmost of evil. this likely results in God not giving satan and the other fallen angels the opportunity to repent. further, the bible gives us no reason to believe they would repent even if God gave them the chance (as you said). the fallen angels seem completely devoted to opposing God and attacking God's people. the bible tells us that one of the things God judges on is how much knowledge of him a person possesses ..the fallen angels, then, are even much more deserving of God’s wrath because of the exceedingly great knowledge they had about God.

He is too harden to repent for his sins. Not only that he would still be judged even If he did because God died for mankind and not the angels.

There is apocryphal writing that says that he would be welcomed back into the fold if he repented, but in my mind why go back to working for someone when you can be your own boss?
I prefer the gnostic idea of Lucifer being the Prometheus of the Bible.
However, if God would not welcome their repentance this would seemingly be contrary to the christian idea of God, although admittedly in character with the Old Testament God..so why would they repent?
Thanks for the thumbs down!

I've wondered about it to. The idea of "praying for Satan" - is it wrong? Aren't we told to pray for our enemies?
The bigger question would be would evil exist without Satan, and I would argue - yes.
