Try this
Go to the TV and hit ch- to go down. Some TVs after you go to ch 4, and ch 2 they go to AUX before they go back to the highest channel.

You have to get into your Menu to do this. You'll be looking for Input or Channel select in the Menu. I believe on those older Zeniths, they used Status & Enter as well as your Vol up/dn & Ch up/dn to scroll through your functions.

you should be able to use the channel control on the front of the TV, if you could access it with the remote it should still go to Auxillary when you use the TV buttons

buy a universal remote control. it can replace the old remote control, it just needs to be programmed.
