Yes, I have been to a Pentecostal church and still attend. I was raised in a church with little emotion and could never feel the Holy Ghost. Going to the Pentecostal church was different. I could feel the spirit and it has a lot of emotion. The people are extremely nice. I love the singing, praising and clapping. I like my experiences at a Pentecostal church.

I was raised in a Pentecostal Church, I left it when i was in my late teens. It was to judgmental, had to many rules and regulations, and perhaps that is why I am so against the Church and Christians having those attributes.
I later went to a Presbyterian Church, and found that Christian could walk in love and understanding.
after 3 years in the Army I returned to the same Presbyterian Church and found the they had change Pastors, and the new Pastors have the same judgmental attitudes as the pentecostal one.
I realized then that it is not the denomination but the Church leaders that make the attitudes of the Church.
i have been to many Churches since. and many different denominations,
I am now a Pentecostal Christian, or to describe it better charismatic.
I love the free spirit, and the working of the spirit of God in that setting.
there are many Charismatic Churches and they differ as much as the fundamentalist Churches do.
and many of them are quite conservative.

Yes, I visited one with a friend in college. It was wild and not very worshipful. Most people around me were just getting caught up in emotionalism, or in the catchy music.

May Pentecostals believe in the heretical teaching of a "second baptism" but this is not biblical.

That is not the way the Apostles worshipped or believed.

Pentecost Sunday is a time to celebrate the birthday of the Church which Jesus Christ founded upon Peter, and to celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit which was given to the Apostles and their successors, the priesthood.

God bless you!

Yes it was different to say the least. Not my cup of tea, but the Holy Spirit moves people in different ways.
