I would suspect some parasites can infect both you and your cat, but I don't know which ones. I am not sure how thoroughly this has been researched. After all, cat meat just isn't that common in the US. Maybe somebody from Korea could answer this question.

I seriously doubt it, it is not the norm though unless you are Korean. I suspect that I am eating dog or cat every time I eat Chinese food. The thought doesn't bother me, I just say man this is some good cat/dog! If I was hungry I would not hesitate eating fluffy, keep him/her inside!

toxoplasmosis, possibly tapeworm.
Both from eating undercooked meat.
