There are not enough people who are willing to give up things and sacrifice for the good of the world. We need more people changing the world for the better, one person at a time. Another reason this is not happening is because some people are misguided and lazy and live their lives for themselves, instead of living their lives for others as God wants us to. If everyone on Earth loved and served each other and lived their lives for others, then we would have heaven on earth.

Remember, the sweat-of-the-brow stuff was only needed after Eden. Born in sin, people would become slothful in an Eden where all one's needs are provided at arms reach. What virtue is there in that? Also, without modern un-edenlike agriculture, the earth could only support a billion people or so. How do you intend to accomplished that?

Because Eden is a return to innocence. Once that's lost, there's no turning back. Find peace in wisdom, not wish fulfilment.
