Now this is an interesting question. Does existence leave when something that exists dies? I don't think so, because if god is within me, then god is within everyone else. If that is the case, even though someone dies, god is still present in everyone else.

No- God cannot die- He is. When or if you experience the first death there is another death. It is the second death. That is when death and hell are cast into the lake of fire. Where their smoke and torment last forever. So I would say in a sense there is not an end of life considering the Word. You will dwell in the house of the Lord forever or in the lake of fire.

Would you be willing to accept another take? When we say God is within us, it means in our souls - the only thing that survives death is the soul. Therefore, God does not die.

No, and neither do you. Matter can be neither created nor destroyed, but merely changed in form. Or rather, matter/energy can . . . same goes for spirit.
