I guess one could make that argument that Judaism is a religion of social justice, and most current issues are a result of corruption, so by that logic if all Israelis (especially the elected leaders) followed the just rules of Judaism then many problems would be resolved. On the other hand, if they followed the law, that would be true too.
Though I know it is a waste to respond to Adamska, I feel it is important to point out that the Arabs did NOT invite the Jews to come to Israel to flee Europe. Quite the opposite: the Arab riots of the 20's and 30's where Jews were massacred convinced the British that Israel/Palestine should not take anymore Jews. On top of that, the Arabs were notoriously pro-Hitler and would have risen up in arms for him had he made it to the area.

The problems in Israel have nothing to do with the laws of G-d. Every country faces their own type of problems.

That is the gist of Kings I & II and Chronicles I & II-When Israel does right by God, God does right by Israel and vice versa.

Most of the problems they are facing are due to the fact that their neighbors are in bondage to a false religion that compels them to fight against God's plans for the Jewish people (for example, the prophecy that Jesus would return to ISRAEL, not "Palestine"). The Muslims truly need a revelation of who God is, when they get one the situation will change dramatically.

I have no idea. But something is basically wrong in Israel... I hope it can be fixed soon, otherwise the country will suffer.
