O Deus "ego amo te",
Nam prior tu amasti me;
En libertate privo me
Ut sponte vinctus sequar te.

if amo is "i love" and te is "you".
the correct sentence would be 'te amo' cause the verb usually is at the end of a sentence.
'ego te amo' is pretty stupid because the first principle part of 'amo' which is 'amo' means 'i love'.
