Just because the US carved out a piece of land that didn't belong to them and told them to live there? Or is it because they believe that God gave it to them? Either way, their presence has caused a unending war over there, also I think that is why much of the Middle East hates us. Can you blame them? We steal their land and put people there.

Worst of all, I didn't even know until 10 minutes ago that Israel bombed a nuclear power plant in 1981!!! How dare them!! The effects of that could have been catastrophic had nuclear matter been stocked. I'm just about fed up with Isreal and the USA's endless support of whatever wrongs they do. Them and the Muslims are killing each other because they each believe their 'God' is telling them too.

If we Americans were so upset and touched by their suffering in the Holocaust, why didn't we give them Texas or another state? Why did we take land that didn't belong to us instead?

I guess the Jews believed it was their promised land from God.

first Israel did not bomb a nuclear power plant. They bombed a building that was being planned for nuclear research and possible weapons development.

And their was no nuclear fallout

Second the United States did not carve out any land in the Middle East. I suggest you look at the 1947 UN partition plan.

It was owned by England and was to be designated for two nations, Israel and Palestine. Unfortunately the other Arab nations did not want this and attacked Israel the day it was declared. Israel was able to push them back but the land that was supposed to be a Palestine was captured by Egypt and Jordan.

After that several wars occurred between Israel and her neighbors (which most historians agree were not instigated by Israel) . In 1967 Israel captured large portions of territory. Much of it that it gave back (the Sinai peninsula) in return for peace.

The current occupied territories would have also been given up (camp David peace accords) but the demands would have resulted in the destruction of the state of Israel.

Israel has shown that it is willing to make peace, as it has with Egypt and Jordan. The main condition it has is that it be allowed to exist. Unfortunately many Arab nations still are trying to destroy it. When they learn to accept it peace will be achieved.

First of all, the power plant in 1981 was constructing atomic bombs "would be of the Hiroshima size. Thus a mortal danger to the people of Israel progressively arose." I think to stop the production of A-bombs, taking out a nuclear plant is justified. The reactor was not complete at the time of the attack, so there was no nuclear fallout, and there were no casualties.

As for the land of Israel, take a look at a map. Israel is a sliver compared to the entire Middle East, and the people have constantly offered to give up some of the land to stop the fighting. This isn't about God-given land, this is about a safe area for the Jews to live. Next time you're doing research about the land of Israel, count the number of Jewish suicide bombers or Jewish people that attack innocent civilians in public places. How can you blame the Jewish people for provoking the entire Middle East.

And the Jewish people do not kill each other because their God is telling them to. They have to fight in order to survive. The ignorance of you and people like you is why the world hates us.

During/After the Babylonian Exile, certain Jewish scribes, such as Ezra, concocted a glorious history of the Jewish People, in order to establish a national identity. So much time has gone by, that nearly all Jews and Christians accept this pious fraud which is not supported by any archaeological evidence. (Although there is evidence to the contrary). The Jews of the "Old Testament" WERE nothing more than nomadic Canaanites.

This is the foundation of Israel's claim to the "Holy Land". Leading archaeologists at Tel Aviv university agree that King Solomon and King David at best were nomadic tribal leaders, and at worst never existed at all. No evidence of Solomon's temple or his kingdom has ever been discovered. Claims otherwise have been proven false.

Your right, though. The modern state of Israel was created out of guilt after WWII. We should have given them Texas or Utah instead. The world would be a safer place right now.

I don't mean to cause offense, but you don't strike me as terrible intelligent. First assuming that the US had anything to do with the founding of Israel, and then your critique of the bombing of Sadam Hussein's (yeah, the same one that the American people decided was worth invading for -get this- PRODUCING NUCLEAR WEAPONS) nuclear warhead program. Further, I doubt you have a fundamental understanding of the nuclear fission process. Let's go back in time, shall we?
In brief, Jews chose to return (and I say return, because it is historical fact that Jews lived their in large numbers for over a thousand years) of their own volition starting in the end of the 19th century. Until 1948, all land owned by Jews in Israel was purchased legally at well above market prices. Despite the legality of the Jews presence, Arab riots broke out repeatedly throughout the 20's and 30's, resulting in massacres of the Jews, which contributed to the British refusing Jews entrance, including to escape the Nazis. Anyway, in 1948 the UN had already decided on allowing the creation of Israel, and the British left the area. The local Arabs and surrounding Arab nations weren't so into a Jewish country, no matter how small, coming into their neighborhood so they all decided to team up on the small country. By the by, at this point in history, America did not support Israel whose primary friends at the time were Chechoslovakia and later France. Anyway, Israel won and the borders with which the war ended were declared Israel's borders and internationally recognized.
Next, I ask you this: back in the day when an African American man would move into an all-white neighborhood it often led to violence. Can I ask him why he thinks he has a right to be there? Can I say that his coming sparks violence, so obviously he shouldn't go there?
Last thing: you have a very simplistic and unsupported view of the current goings on with regards the "Palestinian-Israeli conflict". As much as snooty young fools like to paint the conflict as a battle of religions, which further supports their view that religion is the sole cause of evil in the world, it just is not true. I know really trying to understand something makes your head hurt, but sometimes it's just worth it.

Israel and Palestine both say that thousands of years ago, God told (both) them, "This Land is Yours". They have been fighting each other since then. Obviously, thousands of years ago the ancient people didn't have a clue as to what was going on (they thought that the Earth was flat). It was an incorrect interpretation of something that happened but no one is supposed to talk about it. War or Political Solutions are a waste of time as they ignore the real reason for the problem.

The reason of setting up a state with a Jewish majority is to furnish a riskless haven for Jews, This is since historical past has proven that Jews were persecuted as a minority close to all over. To "are living among the humans of all countries" is a first-class suggestion, however sorry, been there, performed that. The inspiration of a Jewish majority isn't a racist one, this is a reaction to anti-Jewish racism. Why do not YOU "are living among the humans of all countries"? And why do not you desire to recognize that the Arabs began the violence in opposition to the Jews in 1920?

Why do white Americans think they've got a right to be here? And do you have any idea what was going on in the Middle East before Jewish idealists re-established a Jewish state in Israel? Go see "Lawrence of Arabia" and you'll get the Readers' Digest Condensed Version. Arabs were fighting each other then, and had been for centuries. They're still at it today. Israel gave away Gaza for the sake of peace, and what happened? It's become a war zone, Arabs fighting Arabs, and when things get too hot, they lob a few rockets into Israel, forcing them to knock out the launchers, and then they all blame the Jews for the slaughter they started. Believe me shiksa, you're not half as sick of Jews as I am of Arab fanatics and their American appologists!
As for Israel bombing that nuclear reactor back in 1981, do you remember where it was? Saddam was looking for "weapons of mass destruction" even way back then. Israel did the world a favor by taking the damned thing out. They delayed the First Gulf War by a decade, and kept the Arab fanatics from going nuclear. Who's to say 9/11 wouldn't have been a nuclear attack if not for what Israel did back in '81? And by the way, they bombed it before it went online so there was no danger of it becoming a nuclear holocaust.
Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and the only ally we have in the region who's worthy of the name. Arab citizens in Israel have more rights than they have in any neighboring Arab country, even the supposedly "enlightened" ones like Egypt and Jordan. There Jews there are second-class citizens (most Muslim countries forbid Jews to live there at all, but these are the "enlightened" ones, remember?) who are sitting on their suitcases waiting for a chance to escape. Meanwhile, Israel treats its Arab citizens with dignity and respect. They have the right to vote. They can even serve in the Knesset (the Israeli congress). No Arab country treats its Jews half as well as Israel treats its Arabs. It's also interesting to note that Israel has taken in and assimilated Jews from all over the world, despite the fact that the country is broke as the 10 Commandments, and survives primarily on Jewish philanthropy from abroad. Yet the rich Arab oil states refuse to take in Palestineans, forcing them to live in tent cities for over 50 years, despite having more money than God! As I said, I'm sick of Arab wackos and American wackos who pimp and whore for them! Bin Laden will never destroy this country, but our own kooks might!

boy will you ever be fed up in the future.. When Jesus (the Jew) comes back and takes over the whole world. That should get your dander up a little..
The Jews are God's chosen people, and the world had better get used to it.. They are the best soldiers and fighters in the whole world. God has given them special intelligence and abilities.
They not only dare, but will do it again in Iran if no one else does it.. They probably saved us from a nuclear war in 1981.

Hi,
Doesn't sound like you know your history. Too bad your are so miss informed about the Nation of Israel's past. It's their land sister, and God himself gave it to them. Lock stock and barrel... every inch....each grain of sand....theirs all theirs. Bet you didn't know God cared so much. When God makes a promise, he intends to keep it. They are very blessed to have God backing their nation. No other nation on Earth can lay claim to that fact. God bless Israel forever and ever. Amen! And the best part is all other nations will be blessed because of them. We all win!
