Puppy Talk?

My sister and i want a puppy really bad! There is one we have our eye on. she is 150 dollars, and we have 50. My dad wont budge to help us pay, but my mom is willing to think about it. How do i convince one of them(mom) to help us out?

First of all are you responsible enough to take care of a dog? Buying a dog and leaving it chained up in the yard isn't caring for the animal. You have to take it for walks, feed, bathe, groom, and play with it.

Plus you have to buy food, grooming supplies, and such which can get expensive. The animal also has to have room to run and to also have space.
