Try replacing your soda with green tea or flavored tea. Celestial seasonings makes delicious teas that are good for your health. Green gives you some caffeine.
Try drinking water, tea and soda for breakfast dinner and supper and the next day try no soda at all to wean yourself off of it.
I still have the occasional out-to-dinner soda.
Treat yourself once in a while.

I love soda also!!! It also feels like i cannot go a minute without it. But then i found another drink that i love more than soda which is orange juice. Dont ask. But i sitll drink pop but not as much. there are a couple options you can do:
1) You can try cutting down. If you drink 2-3 a day. Then try just drinking 2 a day for a week. Then the next week try sticking to drink 1 can a day. Then maybe you can try drinking one every other day or something.
2) You could find another drink you like much better like i did. Try lemonade, water, milk, orange juice. Anything that is much better than drinking pop.
3) If you really keep having a craving for pop, do anything possible to get your mind off of it when you are trying to cutback. Draw, computer, hang out with friends, anything! Thats what i had to do for a while. Then just sooner or later i just forgot about drinking lots of pop and now i just drink it rarely now!
i hope this helped! good luck!

Yes! Each can of Coke has 39 grams of sugar, which is around 10 teaspoons (1 teaspoon = 4 g. sugar). So if you had 4 Cokes, that would equal 40 teaspoons or a little over 1/2 cup of sugar. That's A LOT of sugar!!! Not only is it bad for your teeth, but that much sugar also lowers your immune system. Not only is sugar a problem, but the phosphoric acid that causes it to be fizzy takes away some calcium from your body. Over time, this weakens your bones. Since it was a one time thing, I wouldn't worry about it, but it is definitely a good idea to limit your soda intake because it's so bad for your body!

Kidney stones occur if you are not drinking enough fluids in general. Most of the damage that comes from soda is from the sugar. Sugar creates an acidic environment in your body, making it more suceptible to cancers. Drinking more than 2 cans of soda per day can dramatically increase your chances of pancreatic cancer. Once you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, it is usually too late.
Sugar also contributes to obesity, depression, and many other bad things.
Try to make WATER your primary beverage. It's okay to enjoy a soda or juice once in a while...just don't depend on those for your hydration. Water helps flush out the toxins in your body. Also, try eating the whole fruit instead of the juice...the dietary fiber to sugar ratio is a lot healthier. If you can't kick the soda habit, try the flavored mineral water.

Try cutting back on the soda intake. Say, only have one for lunch. And have lemonade, water, or some other juice drink instead.
Soda isn't great for you. Try drinking lighter sodas (in color). Sprite, Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew, etc. would be better than Coke or Dr. Pepper.
Who knows, maybe you will find something else that you like better than soda!

Hi,
I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at http://www.get2itnow.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

It's certainly not the best thing you could be drinking. It's probably not doing your teeth any good, either. I doubt if it's HURTING your health, but it's certainly not helping it. Have you thought about maybe switching out ONE can (bottle, whatever) of soda a day for water?

it's just empty calories and sugar that will cause cavities. you probably need the caffeine. there's no nutrition at all in it. try to cut down to one a day. drink water with flavoring the rest of the time.
