did you notice how they cop out on answering your question by saying Christians tortured atheists and witches.
they never answer the question.
they just hate us because they don't understand why we love Jesus.
if only they opened their heart and trusted him.
God Bless

I don't know other than the fact that there's little affection towards other people now-a-days. Some don't display common courtesy to others and outright attack them for believing differently than they do. Of course, when threatened, some are very defensive and attack all the opposers just like when a dog is cornered it'll bite.

It's not just atheists that do this. There are some Christians that'll attack other Christians for not practicing the other's version of Christianity. Perhaps they too feel threatened because what the other says is the truth and they would rather do as they please than change their own ways.

2000 years of Christian oppression of others. And the Atheists no longer have to worry that they're going to be stoned to death, shot, or tortured for speaking out against Christian prejudice, bigotry, persecution, and hatred of anything different from their own.

A threat to us? You're bloody right, you're a threat. You're a threat to the freedom of everyone in the world, even towards other Denominations because Christians can't even agree with each other, much less with anyone that isn't Christian.

I am neither a Christian or an atheist.

You, personally, are definitely NOT a threat to me. Except for the fact that you try to force your idiotic beliefs on me through the laws of this country. That threatens me and the advancement of this country. How dare you trying to make my son's school teach him Genesis is in any way plausible!

How dare you deny a persons right to marry based on gender.

How dare you impede important and potentially life saving research using fetal stem cells because of your close minded ignorance!

This Creation Museum would be laughable except it is to tragic to laugh.

Keep your religion out of our schools and our laws and I will be more than happy to leave you alone.

Oh yeah definetly feel the threat from people who are obviously delusional. I am not hateful towards Christians just because they are Christians but so many times have I been disrespected by Christians that my patience is dwindled

Whether or not christians are right can be neither proven nor disproven. Besides not all athiests hate christians and those who do are probably just sick of all the nonsensicle arguments they use to try and prove the existence of your god to them. A theory based on essumptions or quotes from the bible are not proof of God's existence just proof of people's belief in God's existence.

I suggest it's because so many atheists are frustrated about the same monotonous responses Christians hurl at them to justify the existence of God. I think it's silly, as a Christian myself I don't find ways to expound upon the reality of God, because I read my Bible frequently and I am told to avoid godless chatter with others because it can achieve nothing except make ME more ungodly instead. It's a complete waste of time as far as I'm concerned, because atheists don't sincerely want to hear the truth about our faith, but would rather argue obstreperously about the issue in order to justify the reasons for their lifestyles.

Look what prominent atheist BRAIN FLEMMING has stirred NATIONWIDE in his vindictive organization to motivate YOUNG and old people to denounce God public ally in this Youtube video link:

I am an atheist, and I am not hateful toward anyone. I have noticed no hate from atheists to christians. I have only seen ridicule of certain christians arguments used to attempt conversion of these atheists.

Perhaps you are confusing deserved ridicule and hate.

"i think its because we r right so we r a threat to them"...i always chuckle whenever i hear this...atheists are not 'afraid' that christians are correct about god and the world. we DO however find you annoying, self righteous, intolerant, hateful, deceitful, silly, ludicrous, and out of touch with modernity and reality.
this is not the same as hate...one does not hate a thing they find childish or pitiful...

You are a threat, you're correct... but it's your insistence that we ALL believe as you do and you FORCE everyone to do so by passing laws (like adding god to the pledge and the country's money) that make us afraid.

You are no more right than we are, quite frankly.

Christians have a long history of violence towards those who disagree with them. It doesn't make you right. It's just makes Christians the bullies of the world.
