Religious becoming atheists, as science mostly disproves God, and if you ignore Science, then you're ignorant.

There's nothing to prove the existence of God, so why would an Atheist become religious?

That part doesn't make sense to me.

Up until about 1920 or 30 just about everybody in America was a member of one of the Christian denominations, and attended church services. They had their children attend church too, so they all were religious at the beginning. It was this generation, more than any of the previous ones that lost members to Atheism. Naturally, an Atheist does not teach his children to be religious believers, so now we have many people who were never believers.
A few of the latter may decide to join some church, but there are many times more that are loosing their religious belief.

I've researched on the objections I had with Christianity and I have concluded that the pillars that held my Atheistic beliefs came trembling down. So, obviously, I'm a former Atheist, but now I dedicate my life to God. My research is far from over.

In western Europe it's religionists becoming atheists. That's not just my personal opinion- I don't think you'll find anyone disputing it even those within the church. None of the Christians I know actually dispute that fact- why are the Christians on here not as open and honest about the facts.

Considering the fact tha most atheists are deconverts already, what do you think? How many "religious" people convert more than once in life? How many atheists convert more than once? What is ironic is that those atheists who are becomming religious are mostly scientists and philosophers.

Atheists becoming religious, as we are all born without belief in supernatural beings until indoctrinated as children.

I have no idea but seeing as how theism is far more dominant than atheism (by that I simply mean that you are more likely brought up within some kind of religious faith) it seems more likely that there would be more people converting to atheism - they may decide to convert back to theism again at a later time though.

In terms of people actively choosing to switch from one to the other, definitely religious to atheists.

In terms of children, though, it's solidly atheist to religion. Get 'em while they're young.
