And as far as college goes I haven't taken the ACT or signed up for financial AID. I can't afford to go without financial aid. Also I have no Drivers lisence, no permit, and no car.

OK you have your to-do list
ACT
Financial Aid
DL
then consider a car now all you have to to is start knocking things off your list and get ready for college.

You have your work cut out for you. You're going to have to take care of the SAT or ACT first. Sign up for one of those. When you've take it the first time you might not do so well. That's ok, those two tests are all about being familiar with the test format, you'll get better. However, once you done that you want to start about doing Financial Aid applications. The main one you want to be concerned with is the FAFSA (free application for federal student aid)... this takes your financial and tax information and your parents' and calculates how much your family is able to contribute to your education. Then you send this information to the school you've applied and been accepted to and they'll give you money based on your need and merit. There's also individual scholarships you might qualify for... everything has a scholarship from wearing Duct Tape to your prom to being left handed.

You need to start looking at schools too. I'd reccomend for you starting out at the local community college and getting those pesky core classes (English, Math, History, Humanities, Foreign Language, whatever basic kinds of classes) out of the way. Then in a couple years when all is in order and you've had more time to look at colleges, you can transfer and really hone in on your major. Who knows you might change your mind after you've done a few classes in community college.

Good luck!

have you looked at any colleges yet? A community college English class can fix that stinkin' D for you...one source of money for school is a Pell grant look it up. Money can come from grants: some do NOT require any payback. Google is your friend in this area[ or any good search engine, such as Yahoo!]. What do you have as college interests? "What are you doing with your life?" :-)
P.S.: congratulations on graduating High School- many don't.

College financial aid is available at whatever school you choose to attend. Go to the Counselors office. They will help you. You might spend at least part of your Summer thinking about which direction you want your life to go and that will help decide which Major to choose in college. It will be helpful as well to get a summer job in the line of work you wish to go into.

u can go to community college. they have transportation and do you live in a big city or rural area? Also were your grades good or bad you can get a scholarship to a community college or apply for private ones. And if you don't want to go to community college you could always find a job (depending if you live in a rural area or a big city) for transprotation purposes and also study your permit test and take it.
