find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

A person this heavy can't lose weight very fast in a safe manner because it didn't take this person a month or even acouple of months to get this way. For a person of this size to lose weight they first need to go see their doctor so that they can get checked out and get the okay from their doctor to start an exercise regime. Start eating healthier, cutting out refined sugars, breads, sodas, and junk food. Start exercising by walking first then jogging gradually. It will take a while to shed the pounds but it certainly will take a while since the weight wasn't gained overnight. There is no easy cure all answer for this question. It all depends on the will power of the individual and wanting to actually keep the weight off. I also don't recommend taking any weight loss supplements either. There is a reason why, if you look closely at those bottles containing the supplements, you will see in small letters that it says that it is not FDA approved. Plus, even if you do lose weight, you are more liable to gain all that weight back plus some on top of that. So just exercise and eat right.

A person that is 400+ pounds should really see a doctor and a dietician to map out the best coarse for that person. Losing so much weight can sometimes be dangerous which is why they would need to be monitored by a professional.

The basic plan is still the same. They would put the person on a very low calorie diet and try to include simple exercise like walking into their day.

You can try the Atkins diet. In reality, most things are safer than being at the weight you say you are at.

Also, see a nutritionist and ask them. They may be able to help you come up with a plan. If you aren't adverse to taking a supplemental medication, they may be able to point you in the right direction.

Start moving around too. Even just walking for 15 minutes a day (to start out of course, you will increase this as you go along), will make a difference!

As for the rest who say "there is nothing you can do"-that's not true. Sometimes, it just takes the right mix of circumstances, and it's up to you to do the research and utilize the resources and doctors available to you to formulate that mixture.

Good luck!

Even if you were to lose it you would still need surgery for all the loose skin

But yeah I don;t see how you could do anything that would help you lose weight at the point you are at
