has anyone used that catfish power bait? I was thinking about getting some but wanted to know if it was any good.

I have used the powerbait on several occasions. I use the blood version most of the time. I would also like to recommend stew beef from your grocery store. It comes cut into nice bait sized chunks and stays on the hook better than most catfish baits. One more thing , it catches fish .

Catfish powerbait is not the best as far as stink bait/dough baits. If you looking for something good try Sonys or Hawgwild thats what sells best here in chicago

I agree with capilanopro in that it does work well, but only in lakes and ponds or other still bodies of water. Never had any luck with it in the rivers. Also, corn scented trout powerbait works well for them too.

Maybe i am just not a fan of lures but Live bait in my opinion is the only way to go..Using a larger hook put 2-3 BIG, juicy , and very lively night crawlers on it. But i also will put 1 night crawler and 1 chicken liver on a large hook and that also works very well. good luck

Ive caught a few on it but have better results with cut herring, crab, worms, minnows and a turd in a sock. Threw that one back.
