The hot tub at my healthplex is 104 degrees F. (40 degrees Celsius). To me that is very hot, and I would not recommend it for a child. I think between 90 and 95 degrees F (33 -35 degrees C) would be fine.
As a safety point, water heaters in residential housing should not be set above 120 degrees F. (48 - 50 degrees C.) This is to avoid accidental scalds in young children.

I have 3 boys 3, 5, and 7. We let them get in the hot tub but it is set at 98 degrees. That way it doesn't raise their body temperature. If it is higher their cheeks get red and I can tell they are warming up. Also if you have a hot tub you should look at using peroxide instead of chlorine. It makes the hot tub so much nicer. No chemical smell!

Sarah H 18 degrees celsius is a suitable room temperature not water temperature! That would be really cold!
About 38 degrees celsius is ideal, which is about 100 degrees.
Thats the temperature midwifes keep birthing pools when babies are born, the temperature of the human body.

You should read the warnings in the manual - not get advice here. If you decide to wing-it, add a pee-detecting agent in the water beforehand, for everyone's sake.
