He died in Hong Kong during just before the release of Enter the Dragon and while he was working on and off with his unfinished movie with a Master at each level of the Pagoda.

He went to his friends house where he lied down with a head ache and died of a brain Anuerism possibly.

This is what official records have to say on it.
"On July 20, 1973, Lee was in Hong Kong, due to have dinner with former James Bond star George Lazenby, with whom he intended to make a film. According to Lee's wife Linda, Lee met producer Raymond Chow at 2 p.m. at home to discuss the making of the movie Game of Death. They worked until 4 p.m. and then drove together to the home of Lee's colleague Betty Ting Pei, a Taiwanese actress who was to have a leading role in the film. The three went over the script at her home, and then Chow left to attend a dinner meeting.

A short time later, Lee complained of a headache, and Ting Pei gave him an analgesic. At around 7:30 p.m., he laid down for a nap. After Lee did not turn up for dinner, Chow came to the apartment but could not wake Lee up. A doctor was summoned, who spent ten minutes attempting to revive him before sending him by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. However, Lee was dead by the time he reached the hospital. There was no visible external injury; however, his brain had swollen considerably, from 1,400 to 1,575 grams (a 13% increase). Lee was thirty-two years old. On October 15, 2005, Chow stated in an interview that Lee was allergic to Equagesic. When the doctors announced Bruce Lee's death officially, it was coined as "Death by Misadventure."

Another theory is that he died from an allergic reaction to marijuana, which he was consuming at the time in hashish form. [20]. This is controversial, but it is confirmed that the coroner did find traces of the substance during his autopsy. [21] [22]

However, the exact details of Lee's death are controversial. Bruce Lee's iconic status and unusual death at a young age led many people to develop many theories about his death. Such theories about his death included murder involving the triads, a curse on Lee and his family, etc. The theory of the curse carried over to Lee's son Brandon Lee, also an actor, who died 20 years after his father in a bizarre accident while filming The Crow.

Pallbearers at his funeral on July 31, 1973 included Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Dan Inosanto, Taky Kimura, Peter Chin, and his brother, Robert Lee. To this day, over 30 years after his death, fresh flowers are found on his gravestone every day.

Tom Bleeker, ex-husband of Linda Lee Cadwell (Bruce's widow) wrote a Book entitled "Unsettled Matters" which claimed that Bruce had used steroids in his lifetime. Bleeker offered a $25,000 reward for anyone who could confirm his findings in his book. To this day, no one has challenged the claim or collected the cash reward."

I hope this helps answer your question.

(Whom ever put the negative must know nothing about him or his life obviously or are just sore at themselves and embarrassed at not being able to formulate an opinion of their own so they rate others negative to get even. My source was directly quoted and legit, so thats calling Wikipedia liars and losers as well, I used them to back my answer up which was correct. I do appreciate the three positive however from people and am now just returning the favors to you all esp those with all negative 1 ratings from this poor B. hee hee)

Bruce Lee died of Arsenic poisoning. Fureral parlor workers stated that Lee's hands and feet were blackened (a common side effect of arsenic poisoning along with severe headaches) and that the left side of his skull was severely bruised. Lee received relatively little money for his movies and as a consequence, after finishin Enter the Dragon, stated that he "was tired of working for peanuts" and wanted to take Hong Kong to Hollywood to start his own studio. The Chinese organized crime organization called the Triad, used Betty Ting Pei as bait to get Bruce alone. Bruce Lee died a similar death to Jimmy Hendrix. Both were murdered because they were exploited and wanted to break away from their exploiters.

About Heung: (Source wikipedia.org)

Charles Heung Wah-Keung is a Hong Kong actor-turned-film producer and presenter. As founder of Win's Entertainment in the 1980s and China Star Entertainment Group in the 1990s, he has helped established the careers of various cinematic icons in Hong Kong that include Stephen Chow, Chow Yun-fat, Johnnie To, Jet Li and Andy Lau among countless others. Apart from being one of the most successful film producers in Hong Kong, Heung is also one of the most controversial due to his family's Triad background.

Background:
Heung is widely suspected of ties to one of Hong Kong's largest and most powerful organized crime groups, the Sun Yee On Triad. Heung's father, Heung Chin, founded the Sun Yee On in 1919. Charles is the tenth of the Sun Yee On founder's thirteen children.

Heung Chin's eldest son, Heung Wah-Yim, was convicted in 1988 of being the triad's boss, although his conviction in Hong Kong was overturned on a technicality. The Senate Subcommittee on Investigations also identified him as the triad's leader in a 1992 report on Asian organized crime.

Bruce Lee (Chinese: 李小龍; born Lee Jun-fan, Chinese: 李振藩; 27 November 1940 – 20 July 1973) was a Hong Kong American martial artist, Hong Kong action film actor, martial arts instructor, filmmaker,[3] and the founder of Jeet Kune Do. Lee was the son of Cantonese opera star Lee Hoi-Chuen. He is widely considered by commentators, critics, media and other martial artists to be one of the most influential martial artists of all time,[4] and a pop culture icon of the 20th century.[5][6] He is often credited with helping to change the way Asians were presented in American films.[7]

Lee was born in Chinatown, San Francisco on 27 November 1940 to parents from Hong Kong and was raised in Kowloon with his family until his late teens. He was introduced to the film industry by his father and appeared in several films as a child actor. Lee moved to the United States at the age of 18 to receive his higher education,[8] and it was during this time that he began teaching martial arts. His Hong Kong and Hollywood-produced films elevated the traditional Hong Kong martial arts film to a new level of popularity and acclaim, sparking a surge of interest in Chinese martial arts in the West in the 1970s. The direction and tone of his films changed and influenced martial arts and martial arts films in Hong Kong and the rest of the world.[9]

He is noted for his roles in five feature-length films: Lo Wei's The Big Boss (1971) and Fist of Fury (1972); Way of the Dragon (1972), directed and written by Lee; Warner Brothers' Enter the Dragon (1973) and The Game of Death (1973), both directed by Robert Clouse.[10] Lee became an iconic figure known throughout the world, particularly among the Chinese, as he portrayed Chinese nationalism in his films.[11] He initially trained in Wing Chun and Boxing, but later rejected well-defined martial art styles, favouring instead the use of techniques from various sources, in the spirit of his personal martial arts philosophy, which he dubbed Jeet Kune Do (The Way of the Intercepting Fist). Lee held dual nationality of Hong Kong and the United States.[12] He died in Kowloon Tong on 20 July 1973 at the age of 32.Bruce Lee died from brain edema at the age of 32 on July 20, 1973.
