I have had 3 Pit Bulls over a 23 year period. They have all been wonderful pets who loved people. I have also had a Rottweiler, a German Shepherd & a Lab. The Lab was, by far, the most agressive to humans. Any dog can be made mean. The difference between Pit Bulls & other dogs is that they are powerful enough do do serious damage.
Dog fighting is inhumane. I have known people who fought dogs & I have found them to be pretty much sociopathic. What is the difference between fighting dogs and torturing animals? The inability to empathize with the pain of other people or animals is a pretty scarry thing.
Michael Vick may be a good football player, but anyone who fights dogs is, in my opinion, a sorry excuse for a human being. He belongs in jail, along with everyone else involved.

I think Since it was held at his house he should be held responsible. I find it wrong to fight animals. If you think ur so tough, then you put the gloves on and get in the ring. I have 2 pitbulls. They are the nicest loving dogs i ever had. They arent born mean, they have to be made mean. Kids come to my house all the time to play with them. Theyre only problem is that they love to jump up on people. I cant stop that. But Vic is going to be held responsible, which i think is a good thing.

Micheal Vicks was definately involved; what makes you think that he wasn't? It was at his home, it was his dog, and well he was betting on it too, so there you have it. He should be charged severely, just like how his dogs would be charged if they were considered dangerous. Stick that needle in his arm, f*ckin low-lifes like him should all be stuck with that same needle, then you would see a decrease in animal cruelty around the world. People need to stop putting pit-bulls down, because 95% of them know absolutely nothing about them, I know this because I have experienced it first hand, I have been to dog parks with my two, and half of the people there leave. It leaves me thinking, "Why would anyone bring a dangerous dog to the dog park?" "Why would someone be that stupid" Obviously I bring my dogs to the dog park because they love dogs and want to play just like all the rest that are there. People are so uneducated, and that's how we will lose what we have created for the comfort of our souls. One day, people are going to ban every single dog they can speak of, and that's pathetic, that's horrible, because they don't want to see the truth behind it, they don't want to admit that people are the slobs, bafoons, imbeciles, cruel sons of b*tches that they are. People don't want to look at themselves as a being who would do such a thing, and killing animals, is just a way to hide behind that fact. You know, it's like this, some man raps and murders a 5 year old girl, and then he is caught, he gets put into prison for 25 to life, what the f*ck kind of punishment is that? I'm sorry, if someone has the intention to kill someone so innocent, so frail and small, and defensless, they deserve the same that they did to that child, and the same goes for people whom neglect, beat, starve, fight, and kill animals. People need to get a life, if they have the time to rant about pit-bull myths, then they have the time to back up their media implied myth by learning the facts. To all of those people who believe the myths the media portraits along with all the idiotic people who educate themselves around false lies and one website that says such in such, that is also against supposedly dangerous breeds, then you really need to start looking harder to find the reality of all the mess that's been brought about. Sorry, I lost my temper, but you know what, I'm thinking about the day when I will have to put my well trained, well behaved, friendly, family oriented dogs to sleep for people whom fear what they know nothing about.

Why do you have a female face and a male name???
Any man betting on his own dog in a dog fight is involved. He's involved by his betting. He's involved by allowing his dog to participate. That's all quite obvious.
Dog fighting is cruel and I believe is illegal, like rooster fighting.
It also makes the dogs vicious so they are now a danger to humans!
