cardio will make you lose fat wherever you have it on your body - you cant spot reduce. do it 4-6 times a week for 30-50min and combine with light weight training.

January is below a month away so.. you could not spot cut back in basic terms lose physique fat.. in line with possibility you could minimize extra energy and consume extra protein .. run and once you could start up weight preparation for weight alleviation
