Native American cure for Poison Ivy.

Make a thick paste of coffee (warm) and Baking soda and apply to the affected area and allow to dry.
as soon as the chemical reaction takes place the poison will run out of the mixture so have a towell ready.
when it quits dripping wash off and rub down with a good aloe cream.

Works fast and every time.

Go to a pharmacy and ask for a cream to put on it. IvyDry is one, Calomine is another. Look for one that has a topical anesthetic that helps numb the skin a bit. I had a terrible case of poison ivy last year, and this helped me.

There is a very good cream called Zanfel Cream which runs about 30-40 dollars. Ask your pharmacy is they carry it. It's quite expensive, but it is the best product out there that is steroid-free. I'm a pharmacist, and we sell this a lot in the summer time.
