I would be more than happy to. If you are wanting inner peace you try meditating or journaling. A lot of times there are issues or things that we have pushed so far in the back of our heads that we don't realize that is what is causing our inner turmoil. What may help also when you feel yourself getting angry or upset remember to stop and breath. when we star to deal with anything upsetting we tend to unconsciously hold our breaths which is a signals the brain to stop the flow of that thought and that only keeps us from resolving and healing it. Finding inner peace is a tough journey but well worth it. I pray that you are guided to things that will help you find it. And it is never selfish to ask someone to pray for you.

Ignore the negative, flippant answers of people who are too shallow to seek understanding. Prayer does work miracles and sometimes the answers are a surprise, sometimes the answer is no. It like a small child requesting something he/she doesn't realize is not for his/her best. Take charge of the things you can fix and let go of the rest. Remember that if you have a problem you can fix there is no need to worry. If you have a problem you can't fix, no amount of worry will help. Seperate the two, and give God his half while you focus on your half.

I don't see anything necessarily selfish about such a request since it's an admission that one realizes that one is reliant on God's help.

My question, however, is why do you need others to pray for you? God can hear your prayer just as well as He can ours. As long as you're willing to do so as well, I'm willing to pray for you too.

It is not selfish really to ask for prayers. Regardless of religion, God is One and He answers to everyone's prayer. I wish sincerely to God that He brings peace and prosperity to your life and guides you to the path of truth.

Get lost. If you have problems work them out yourself instead of looking to others for help. No one gives a stuff about you-deal with it. Other people here will patronise you- I'm the only one who told you the honest truth. That's why I get a load of thumbs down.

Take charge of yourself. Praying is like burying your head in the sand. Look at what is causing you unrest and do something about it.
