Thanks to all who have shared.

As for those who can't understand how I know God without belief in the Bible. My Question is: Why do you need a book to tell you there is a God when I feel and see him in everyone and everything?

Absolutley .. i believe we can connect with God without having to resort to religion. Religion is there as a guide but after that if we become immersed in religion you can become confused, bitter and even hateful towards your fellow man.. and i really believe the most powerful religion is the brotherhood of man .. u wont misbehave and develop hatred towards anyone as we all know that is not what God wants and is what anything evil does want. ... !!!

I believe in God,, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and the Bible, I believe what the Bible says when the Holy Spirit opens it up to me, I don't believe in religion or denominations it separates Gods people to the fullest. Let me ask a question if God is Love why are they so many religions and denominations? Only God will know who has a true heart to follow him so my advice to who clam to be a follower of God Thu Jesus in seek with a pure heart after God in the truth and Spirit.

I don't, but alot of people I know do.
They believe in a higher power, and there is a bigger purpose, but they're people of science that refuse to believe that the world was made in 6 days 6000 years ago. I personally highy doubt the Bible because I know if I cut my guyfriend's ribs, a woman won't pop out, but it's not that questionable that there is a higher power. I refuse to be part of a religion cause I want to hav my own thoughts, not what is being fed to me by a book or minister.

My name is Dawn, too! :)

I was a Deist, but have moved on. I don't believe in God now. The way I feel is, if there is/was a God, he would not have let things get so ridiculous. He would have been upfront and honest and would be having people follow a religion that he participates in without any of the testing, the games, the wars, set-ups, and favoritism B.S.

You can not do both..
You are fooling yourself. You can not know God outside of the Bible, and the other depends on what you call religion..
God is ONLY revealed through the Bible so if you know some other God outside of the bible then it isn't God..
Don't be foolish, you may as well go with the first answer, at least she knows correctly who she believes in..

YES! YES!

I am like you.

I love God. The bible is man made fiction with a few good parables. I IGNORE anything written by Paul! There is no hell. The church invented hell to keep the sheeple in line and collect their money.

I have not found a religion that is about God yet. They are about control, idiotic dogma, and greed.

Human nature likes the freedom of picking our own "God." Why pick the God revealed in the Bible?

Satans greatest feat was convincing the "wise" that there is no hell. God chooses the simple things to confound the wise. There will be a lot of people waking up too late when they stand before the Lord on that day.
