Since the beginning of April I have had three root canals and one extraction. Each time I have one tooth worked on, another starts hurting. I feel like I'm going crazy. Dentist started a root canal last week and will finish it up next week but it doesn't feel any different. What is going on? I can't afford to keep having work done until the pain stops.

Swish two or three times a day with HYDROGEN PEROXIDE. It is extremely healing. Use a soft toothbrush and brush gently so the peroxide can bubble into the edges of the gums. It will heal all the way down to the roots.

I had to have new crowns put on my to two front teeth and one developed pain up the root to the corner of my eye. I brushed and swished every day and healed it completely.

This is from a dentist and I have done it for forty years, so I can vouch for the fact that it works.

If you have several infected teeth, then root canals are OK. But if you only have discomfort, wait a few months and take a prescription for swelling/pain, and let your teeth settle down to the new situation.
Also check for sinus infections which can feel like a tooth gone bad, but only need antibiotics to clear up.

Maybe it's not your teeth that are the problem. You could have TMJ or some other problem connected with the jawbone. I would suggest going to your MD., explaining the situation to him/her and going from there.

Maybe you're having the wrong tooth worked on.
